Holly E. Haulter, M.A.

Holly HaulterHolly Haulter is a Licensed Psychological Associate who provides psychological evaluations for all ages, as well as individual therapy for children and adolescents.

She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Biblical Studies (dual major) from Kentucky Christian University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Appalachian State University. She completed her clinical internship at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s ADHD Specialty Clinic.

Holly has been serving families throughout the Triad since 2004. She has experience working in traditional private practice psychology settings, as well as serving as a psychologist at an academic services provider.  While performing psychological evaluations for learning disabilities and/or ADHD are her area of specialty, she also enjoys providing individual therapy for children and adolescents, and family therapy for parents (i.e., offering strategies for behavioral difficulties/oppositionality, academic strategies, communication issues, etc.).

As a children’s ministry director, teen youth sponsor, and mother of two young girls, Holly spends a great deal of time with young people and is skilled at making them feel comfortable and valued. She is happy to integrate a Christian perspective into treatment for those who desire it; however, she is also comfortable serving clients who hold other beliefs. Her therapy approach tends to be cognitive-behavioral in nature and she is committed to suggesting the most up-to-date, empirically supported treatments.
